Building Your Team
Off-Season The “Off-Season Period” begins immediately after the Fantasy Super Bowl has concluded.
Off-Season Cut Date: All players to be cut must be cut 7 days prior to the upcoming seasons Free Agent Auction Draft. All players cut prior to this date during the Off-Season will no longer count against the roster total or salary cap and the team will not receive a salary cap penalty.
a: If a player is cut after this date, a 10% Salary Cap Penalty will occur.
All players whose contracts have expired (at “0” remaining years) are not eligible for any off-season trades. The moment the Fantasy Super Bowl has concluded, that player is a Free Agent and cannot be picked up until the Free Agent Auction Draft.
Free Agent Auction Draft: A Free Agent Auction Draft, consisting of all available Free Agents will be held prior to week 1 of the regular season. The Draft is auction style where players may bid up to their remaining available salary on any available players but also must remain below the total salary cap.
Following Free Agent Draft, all players on rosters must be assigned a Contract length. The salary for the player will be the winning auction price. Each manager will be required to either update their team proboards page with the length of contract, or email the commissioner to update the proboards page with the length of contract for each player. A player may be signed for a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 5 years.
b Failure to notify the commissioner of how long you are signing a player for will result in all players contract being for 1 year.
c There is a 10% salary inflation each year you own a player after the 1st year.
